You can give yours free rein in our Art Lab where you can learn from our in-house artists how to create your own masterpiece from clay or glass, or simply by painting. Creativity under the roof of a barnacle
The Indonesian architectural firm KülorGroup designed an open building for the Art Lab using Balinese bamboo, with a roof resembling the surface of a barnacle – with two curved beams, sand on the ground floor and warm woods on the first floor. It’s a design that effortlessly demonstrates how well beauty and sustainability can go together in architecture. International artists also regularly come and stay as artists in residence, exhibiting their own work and teaching painting, small sculpture and pottery to interested guests.

Create your own memories of Finolhu
There are painting and pottery classes for children and adults. Under the guidance of an in-house artist you can paint pictures on wood and fabric and make collages with shells. Naturally professional pottery wheels and kilns are also available. Your own work of art to take home with you would be a wonderful souvenir of your time at Finolhu.
